Insight: People I interviewed explained how they find it awkward talking to homeless people on the street. They prefer to go into a shop and buy them a sandwich or packet of crisps.
But the homeless person might not need these items, the person just didn’t ask.
Idea: HelloHub is a campaign launched by GiffGaff to help the homeless. It repurposes telephone boxes and allows homeless people to request items from a shop. The public can use the HelloHub app to see what the person needs, then they can drop it off ready for collection in a lockable locker within a telephone box.
